Ahoy, there be glitter there!

Epoxy Flood Coat Over Acrylic Paint- Pirate Ship

This is another video our Dog House Series around the Pirate Ship. In this video we have painted birch plywood and done flood coats containing glitter over them. See how it turns out and give it a try for yourself!

Comments:

In this video we have painted birch plywood cut outs with acrylic paint. In all cases except one (the waves) we did solid colors. With the waves we did some actual "painting" of waves. If you enjoy painting, you can get as detailed as you like and then flood coat over the top. We cover this in other videos. In this one we keep it simple with mostly solid colors.
Note: Be sure to use solvent resistant glitters with epoxy. Also- epoxy is not for outdoor use or where direct sunlight will shine on it for long periods of time (weeks etc). It has little to no UV inhibitors and will yellow with sun exposure.

Polyester Solvent Resistant Glitters Only!  We recommend shopping the Glitter for Floors section of the site.

This is the brand used in the video. Since shooting this video we have fallen in love with it more and more. Great brand!
Search notes. When using the search feature it is best to skip using the word glitter. For example type in FLOOR instead of Glitter Floor.
