Epoxy Flood Coating

Ultra Brand Epoxy Coated Table

Ultra Brand epoxy is a very high quality material that self levels at a full 1/8". It is one of the thickest epoxies out there and is also one of the more challenging to work with. The end result is gorgeous and worth the extra work and expense in high end situations.

Comments:

In this video we put the glitter onto the table in the seal coat. That allowed for total and complete coverage. If you were going for accent coverage it would be fine to add the glitter into the flood coat and pour it on. The glitter will sink in the epoxy before it dries and will allow for a nice smooth surface.
Note: This brand has very particular instructions compared to many other brands. Be sure to read and follow the directions carefully for best results! We recommend doing this in a climate controlled space or during a stable weather pattern in the Summer.
Ventilation: This is a very low odor material. We used respirators but they really are not necessary unless you are highly sensitive. An odor over a period of time can be irritating to the nose and throat.

Polyester Solvent Resistant Glitters are the only ones you want to use with Epoxy. We recommend entering and shopping only through the Glitter For Floors section of the site. The glitters listed in that section are all fine for using in epoxy.
