Fireside Chat- Photography

In this video we go over tips for shooting glitter. It is tricky stuff and we hope this video will help you grab that perfect shot.

Comments:

Craft glitter is a heavy glitter but inexpensive. If you are piling it up, throwing it around, or need to clean up fast- craft glitter is a good choice. However, it does not hang in the air AT ALL. If you throw it, it drops fast. If you need a glitter that hangs in the air for a bit, ultra fine polyester is what you want. However, those smaller flakes will require more light in order to be seen.  There is no perfect glitter for all photography- it will always depend on your unique situation and conditions.

This video covers lighting and some technical settings for getting "the shot". In future videos we will cover tips in shooting your finished projects.

Search notes. When using the search feature it is best to skip using the word glitter. For example type in FLOOR instead of Glitter Floor.
