Fireside Chat- Snowglobes

In our little chat we cover some tips on which glitters we find work best in snow globes. It is a follow up to the video we shot one year ago.

Comments:

The glitters used in the globes are all craft glitters. They are either clear with an iridescent coating or they are a white base with an iridescent coating. There are no actual colorants on any of them so there is not opportunity for bleeding. If you want to go a different direction and use a colored flake- you might want to skip using craft glitter and switch to a polyester (they tend not to bleed).

We do not cover how to make your own snow globes in the Fireside Chat. This short video covers the basics and uses easy to find items. More commercial shaped snow globes can be found on Amazon, craft stores and other on-line retailers.
Want to try a waterless snow globe? This crafter shows you how to do it!
Search notes. When using the search feature it is best to skip using the word glitter. For example type in FLOOR instead of Glitter Floor.
