Glitter Bath Bombs

In this video we cover how to make bath bombs for your personal use. It is a simple recipe and makes for a wonderful relaxing milk bath.

The mold that was used for this video was a plastic Christmas ornament. They make a perfect mold and a great holiday gift!
Here is the recipe from the video:
  • 1cup baking soda
  • 1⁄2 cup citric acid
  • 1⁄4 cup cornstarch
  • 1⁄4 cup powdered milk
  • 2 teaspoons shea butter (or mango, avocado, cocoa butter)
  • 1 tablespoon warm honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon essential oil
  • ​4 tablespoons of Cosmetic Grade Glitter or Biodegradable Glitter

DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch and powder milk.
  2. Melt the shea butter, warm honey and oil in a microwave safe measuring cup or over low heat in a small pot.
  3. Add to the baking soda mixture. Combine the mixture and add the essential oils. Mix well. Mixture should hold together when you make a ball.
  4. Working quickly, press the mixture firmly into your mold.
