Glitter Chair
Level: Beginner
Comments:
Don't like gold? Try silver or any other color, this project is incredibly suited for any living room, dining room or photo-shoot. You can customize it with any color paint on any chair with any color glitter! You can use a fabric glue on upholstered chairs, using a stretchable and/flexible fabric glue is something else you can experiment with.
Flake Note: The brand she is using is an ultra fine flake .008 polyester glitter which we carry in a couple of hundred colors. The main difference between MS brand and ours is that ours is made in the USA.
Seal Note: She recommends doing a final seal coat. We would recommend against this unless you feel that it needs it. What happens when you do excessive sealing is you dull the glitter. It is a physics thing- you are making the light work harder to hit the surface of the glitter and bounce back to your eye. The less sealer you use the bigger the sparkle.
We love what she is doing here and applaud her bringing old furniture back to life.
