New or Old... Matters Not!

Glittering Sneakers

Glittering a pair of sneakers is fun, fast, and easy. Grab a new pair or give life to an old one- either way, they are sure to be big hit!

Skill level: Beginner

Comments:

Craft vs Poly- You can use either craft or poly glitters on shoes. Craft is not appropriate for shoes that are going to be in the sun for long periods of time or are going to be washed in a washing machine. Polyester can handle sun and water much better than craft glitter.
The video mentions a couple of points that we want to make sure hit home-
1. If you put too many seal coats over your glitter, the sparkle will dim.
1a. Too much sealer will also change the color of the glitter!
2. If you have a flexible shoe or one that stretches, be sure to use a glue/sealer like Aleenes Stretchable Flexible Glue. Mod Podge will give a bit, but it is not meant for serious flexing.

Search notes. When using the search feature it is best to skip using the word glitter. For example type in FLOOR instead of Glitter Floor.
