Use can use either polyester glitter or craft glitter with the Design Master Glue for Glitter. If you are going for a seasonal look only, then craft glitter will generally last the season. If you plan to put your tree outside and want the glitter to look good for a long period of time, then we recommend polyester. Poly glitter resists water better and has UV inhibitors the help keep it from fading in the sun.
Over time even this glue will lose its bond and the glitter will drop. It can happen from rain water or simply the tree growing & moving. In other words- you may need to re-coat if you intend it to be glittered all year round.
