Glitter Instead of Sand? YES!

Layering Glitter for Decor

We needed to have some glittered decor for a set and played around with glitter layering. We took glittered branches and a clear glass vase and went for it. The results were pretty wonderful!

Comments:

There are no real rules with glitter layering. You are basically following the same principals as "sand art bottles". We really liked mixing flake sizes in the vase. In this video we used craft glitter and it is a good way to go for price reasons alone. However, polyester would work wonderfully too.  We ended up sealing the top but that is not necessary. If you felt like changing the colors out as the seasons change- that would be pretty great.

Search notes. When using the search feature it is best to skip using the word glitter. For example type in FLOOR instead of Glitter Floor.
