Maria shares her spa transformation...

I started with a treatment room that needed to be updated and brightened up. My clients have always loved the lights and fabric on the ceiling, so I needed to get rid of those (too much dust, not enough light) and do something else... Glitter! Of course. For the first coat, I used 1 part Glitter to 2 parts Mod Podge with a foam roller. Not great. For the next, I did the same, thinking it would really cover. Again, not great, but better. For the third coat, I did equal parts Mod Podge and Glitter, and just spread it on with my heavily gloved hands in circular patterns. Finally - a nice finish and very sparkly. I also re-painted 3 large pieces of furniture in the room and used the same glitter mix on the hardware. Had some glitter paste supplies left, so I did a wall, too. My glitter was a mix of fine pink, chunky gold, and holographic silver. On Instagram, I'm @SpaByMaria Thank you!

Search notes. When using the search feature it is best to skip using the word glitter. For example type in FLOOR instead of Glitter Floor.
